Electric Garage

You may be aware that we've moved into the empty garage on Forbes Avenue which formerly housed University Exxon. We've now set up all our tools and testing equipment there, and are using it to convert the Civic, do work on the Scion, and evaluate battery performance. While we're at it, though, we're also working hard to clean the place up and turn it into a community center where everyone will be welcome to stop by. As such, we've been painting all the interior walls - except for the one we tore down! - power washing the interior, weeding the gardens, and we're getting ready to paint the exterior. We're also recruiting people to help us turn the garden space we have around the garage into an attractive and productive area. Furthermore, we'll be turning the front entranceway into a mini-museum to explain the work we're doing; the CREATE Lab more generally; and the history, present, and future of electric vehicles in Pittsburgh and the world. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming barbecues and barn-raising parties at the Garage. We'd love to have you stop by!
